On September 6th, the "Conference on European CE, IECQ Compliance Standards and Promoting the Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain" was successfully held at Cosber’s Danzao Industrial Park in Guangdong. Nearly 50 representatives from over 20 hydrogen energy companies and government departments attended the event.

The conference invited trainers from DEKRA, a globally renowned certification body, to provide on-site training. The topics covered included the European Union’s New Legislative Framework (CE compliance), Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU and its typical harmonized standards, Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU, the IECQ (International Electrotechnical Commission Quality Assessment System), and DEKRA’s compliance solutions for the hydrogen energy sector. These presentations, combined with insights on the European hydrogen energy market and product service cases, provided a detailed overview of the regulatory and standards framework for the hydrogen energy market in Europe.

At the conference, representatives from Cosber’s HPC division discussed the European CE and IECQ certification training content in relation to their own products and the challenges encountered during the product certification process. They engaged in discussions and exchanges with the trainers and government and industry representatives. These discussions, focused on European market regulations and standards for hydrogen product certification, are aimed at preparing for the internationalization and commercialization of hydrogen energy.
